𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬.
Usually you start on your diet and you decide to eat a meal and more than likely isn’t satisfied or it doesn’t provide any satiety.
A few minutes past and you’re counting when can I eat again.
𝘓𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘵?
Do this enough time throughout the day and you’ll over consume on your calories because you’re so focused on eating.
You begin to start munching every time you go into the kitchen, seeing most of us are working from home lately.
And then you will start to feel frustrated why you’re not dropping the pounds as you planned, when you start your diet, so to speak.
Ideally you want to feel satiety after a meal, or else what’s the point.
Probably that why you might catch me at Nando’s than at the Ritz Carlton on a Sunday evening for tea and biscuits.
(no pun intended to those folks who likes tea and biscuits at the Ritz, actually I look forward to your invitation to change my mind 😹)
Now don’t confuse satiety with being belly busting full.
Now there’s actually a solution to eating less but still feeling satisfied.
Here it’s, you need to make food choices that provide food volume.
An example of this would be trying to consume 500 calories at a meal which could be:
2 x snicker bars =higher I calorie/lower in volume
Say 5 apples =lower in calories/but higher in volume
(Now that’s not to say no one shouldn’t ever eat a snickers bar again)
So If we prioritises eating food lower in calories, you will have less space in your stomach for eating higher calories food.
So main take away today to lose weight and fat you need shouldn’t be eating less food or no food so to see speak, just less calories.
